Head to the Urbana Free Library for Crafty Tales, a story time for children ages 2-6 that fosters early literacy skills through playful learning filled with music, rhymes, movement, and books. After hearing the story, kids will make a fun craft using provided supplies.

The nature center offers self-guided activities for kids 6 and under and their families. These indoor programs for young naturalists have optional outdoor components, weather permitting. Themes are announced the week prior to each program.

This Open Mic night welcomes talented young musicians to perform. Soloists can showcase their skills on vocals or any instrument – pop, rock, classical, and more. Bring your own gear to plug in, or play the provided baby grand piano and professional keyboard. Friendly faculty hosts can accompany you on piano or guitar.
