If you want to avoid the crowds at the pool, here’s a great way to spend time playing in the water with your little ones. Tiny Tops will have exclusive access to the kiddie pool from 8-10:45 a.m.
This is a paid activity and is not part of swim lessons or swim team. $5 (resident) or $7.50 (non-resident) per person; free for season pass holders. Children ages 3 and under are free with a paying adult.
Crafty Tales
Urbana Free Library

If you have children ages 2-6, bring them down to the Urbana Library for Crafty Tales, a story time for young children. This is a great way for them to learn early literacy skills in a playful and supportive environment. Activities will include music, rhymes, active learning, and of course, books! They will also have a fun craft (all supplies will be provided) after the story time.
Make and Take for Preschoolers

Bring your kids to the Champaign Public Library any Thursday morning between 10 and 11 for a preschool craft you can make and take home. For preschool children with their parent or caregiver.
