Savoy 61874th of July Celebration

It’s time for the Village’s second 61874th of July street festival and celebration. This year’s event will be held on Friday June 30, 2023 from 3 to 10 p.m. on Woodfield Drive.
Enjoy the Industrial Donut donut stacking competition and taekwondo and hapkido demonstrations from HMD Academy. Advanced registration is required for the donut stacking event. Also back again are food trucks from La Mixteca, Kona Ice, and Flour & Fire Pizza, as well as Watson’s Chicken and Mama D’s. Craft beer from Triptych Brewing will be available for purchase. The festival also includes a kids’ zone featuring games and activities for all ages, a sensory friendly area, and a pop-up artisan market. The kids’ zone and market will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.
Farmer City Raceway Fan Appreciation Night and Fireworks

Freedom Fest in Mahomet

Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve
Come out on June 30th for the final Freedom Fest at Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve in Mahomet, Illinois. Music begins at 4 p.m.; and at 9 p.m., after a tribute to our service men and women, they Light Up The Lake with a spectacular fireworks display set to music. Admission is $2 per person, with children 5 and under free. Military persons with ID get in free. Expenses continue to increase, so additional contributions will be greatly appreciated.

Champaign Country Club Independence Day Celebration: How to See the Fireworks. The Champaign Country Club hosts its Independence Day celebration for members and their guests on July 3. There will be a fireworks display that will begin between 9:15 and 9:45 pm. The Champaign Country Club requires that spectators view the show from north of the split rail fence along Armory or from public spaces in surrounding neighborhoods. Spectators are not allowed at the Clubhouse or on Club property unless they are members or invited guests.
Champaign County Freedom Celebration

The Champaign County Freedom Celebration announced the community will hold the usual lineup of Fourth of July fun in Champaign-Urbana this summer. The day begins with a 5K run/walk and youth run, during which you will already see people setting up prime viewing spots for the parade that begins later that morning.
The parade, which lasts several hours, features all of the parade favorites like fire trucks, community floats, and usually some inflatables. Yes, there is candy, too! Bring your blanket or lawn chairs and grab a spot long the route.
