Family Fun Friday: Craft Drop-In

Be crafty with the library! Kids and families are welcome to drop by, do some crafts, and take their creations home with them. Stations will be set up with a few different crafts in the library’s Edgar Room for all ages to enjoy.
Folk & Root Fridays: Brown Bag Lunch Concerts

Lake House in Crystal Lake Park
Join the Urbana Park District and the C-U Folk & Roots Festival on the first and third Fridays of each month this summer for some great FREE live music! They’ll have boating and drink/snack specials, just bring your lunch and enjoy an afternoon lunch break on the lake. Enter your name into the raffle each Friday to win a free Lake House rental. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held inside the air-conditioned rental room at the Lake House.

Prairie Farm
Prairie Farm features a variety of farm animals and activities for everyone to explore. For safety reasons, closed-toe shoes must be worn when participating in programs or entering the Petting Zoo. No admission is charged, but donations to help us keep operating are appreciated. In the event of inclement weather, Prairie Farm will be closed. Be sure to check the rainout line (217-805-4100) for closure updates.
FRESH Teen Hangout Zones

Blair Park
FREE! Urbana Park District is hosting FRESH Hangout Zones just for teens (grades 6-12) at Blair Park this Summer. Whether you enjoy playing games, reading, drawing, or just socializing—all are welcome to join!
Free Wi-Fi is available, and park district staff will offer activities such as Nintendo Switch gaming, art supplies, board games and a crafting station. Free snacks and refreshments provided! For more information call the Phillips Recreation Center at 217-367-1544.
