Hairy Scary Howl-O-Ween

Nightmare on Grove Street

Come to Douglass Park for their annual Halloween party! Enjoy activities, free candy giveaway, and more! This is a free event for all ages.

Car Show and Trunk or Treat

2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Piatt County Trail Blazers Club

Come out and bring your cars or just look around! Trunk or treat starts at 4pm. There will also be a food truck on the grounds with Philly Steak Sandwiches, Italian Sausage and more!

Halloween on the Levee Trail

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Sangamon River Corridor Reserve

Enjoy a spooky, nature-themed scavenger hunt on the trail and other kids’ activities to celebrate the natural spookiness of the floodplain forest. This is an open-house style event; arrive at your convenience and complete any or all of the activities! This event is on the Bruce Hannon Levee Trail, located on LCF’s Sangamon River Corridor Reserve. The parking lot is just south of the golf course in Monticello.

Boo at the Zoo

3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Boo at the Zoo is back this year at Scovill Zoo! Dress up in your Halloween costume and head to the zoo.

Halloween at the Harvest Moon – Wicked Weekend

7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Harvest Moon Twin Drive-in Theatre

Come out for one last weekend of movies under the stars October 21 and 22. They are showing the new movie Halloween Ends (rated R) on screen 1 for the scary movie fans and the 10th anniversary of the hilarious family hit Hotel Transylvania (rated PG) on screen 1.

Killer Theater Haunted House

7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Monticello Theatre Association

The coven has moved on from the hospital and has chosen a new target to control. Control the masses by controlling those who entertain. Fox Hill Theater has had a hex put upon it and the actors have taken method acting to a whole new level. They have taken on the personas of those whom they were playing. You’re not watching the play, you’re in it! Can you survive these murderous actors whose play time has become real time!?

Christie Clinic Presents: Costume Parade at Lincoln Square

Join Christie Clinic and chambanamoms on Sunday, October 23, from 3 – 4:30pm, for an afternoon of Halloween-themed family fun! Families are invited to this FREE indoor event in the High Court (south hallway) at Lincoln Square Mall. Come dressed in costume and participate in our parade through the mall!

Trunk or Treat at Crossroads Church

Crossroads Church
