Celebrate some of the best films ever made at the the best films ever made at the University of Illinois College of Media’s 19th Annual Roger Ebert's Film Festival 2017! This incredible annual event is a favorite in Champaign/Urbana. The festival is taking place Wednesday, April 19th through Sunday, April 23rd at the beautiful Virginia Theatre (203 West Park Avenue, Champaign).

The Pulitzer Prize winning film critic Roger Ebert founded the festival in 1999 to celebrate past films that deserve more recognition. A native of Urbana and a University of Illinois graduate, Ebert believed it was important to offer the community a world class film festival every year. Now in its 19th year, the festival continues to delight audiences. Special guests, such as actors, directors, producers, and writers, attend the screenings and provide in depth panel discussions for audiences to enjoy. Check out all the films being offered at this year’s EbertFest!
